Privacy

All modular features store their information locally in your Mac's sandboxed application container:

• Clipboard history (text, snippets, links, images)
• Notes & quick scratchpad thoughts
• Shelf files & dragged attachments
• Timers, stopwatch laps & hydration goals
• Screen time statistics & per-app breakdown
• Converted images and generated PDFs

None of these items are ever transmitted across the internet or uploaded to any server.

If you connect external services to show live metrics in your notch HUD:

• Payment Providers: Stripe, Polar, Dodo Payments, Lemon Squeezy (restricted read-only keys)
• Analytics: Google Analytics 4, DataFast
• Weather: Your selected city/coordinates are sent to official forecast providers

NotchCraft contacts those providers directly from your Mac to retrieve your figures. All API keys and secrets are stored in your encrypted native macOS Keychain.

The Claude Code tool monitors local log files written to ~/.claude on your Mac. It reads metadata only — token counters, session timestamps, tool calls, and streak dates. It never reads the text of your prompts or conversation messages. If you do not have Claude Code installed, the tool stays completely idle.

Maaa Care reads native macOS IOKit hardware telemetry — current battery percentage, thermal state, power adapter status, and keyboard typing session durations. All calculations happen on-device, and reminders are spoken or chimed locally without internet connectivity.

Your license

When you enter your license key, NotchCraft communicates with Dodo Payments to authenticate the key and register the device. Your key is stored safely in your macOS Keychain. If you are offline, NotchCraft maintains full offline access without interruption.

Purchases & Payment Data

Payments are handled securely by our Merchant of Record, Dodo Payments. We receive only the necessary details required to deliver your license and DMG link to your email. We never see, collect, or store your credit card, debit card, or financial credentials.
